Ours are in a polytunnel with doors open either end for ventilation.  It's shaded against the strong summer sunshine but still gets very warm and yet all our tomatoes are still green.  On the other hand, they look healthy and no probs so far so I assume it's just a matter pf patience.

They were sown and planted later than usual because of the cold wet spring and i have no heated space for early seedlings.

I see you have been removing leaves, this could be a reason, particularly if you are feeding high potash as leaves play a large part in getting the feed to the fruit! (Photosynthesis)

It's the potash that has more effect on ripening than light.

Think of it this way; one way of ripening harvested tomatoes is to keep them in a darkened state, e.g a drawer!

Leaves offer this shade as well as feeding the fruit!

I don't know what you feeding regime is but what I would do is; rather than potash feeding them say a couple of times a week I would give them a half strength feed at EVERY watering.Hopefully the leaves that are left wil cope better with regular feeding rather than a lot twice a week.

If you follow this regime I for one would be interested in the results.

Best of luck
