Title: Wyevale Garden Centres half price seed sales has begun

Just wanted to let everyone know Wyevale Garden Centres have started their half price seed sale. I had saved up vouchers all year & got £60 worth of seeds for £2.18  :icon_cheers: happy days xxx

That sounds a good bargain, how many vouchers did you have, must :) ave been l ok ads!! I'm going to wait it out until they go down to 50p a packet in August.....then I can go mad! What did you buy?  :wave:

Hi Deb, I have a loyalty type card for Wyevale so they send you regular vouchers like £6 worth of points if you spend £30 etc plus you earn points on everything you buy so I had over £28 in vouchers saved up. I literally bought all the seeds I will need for the allotment & flower seeds for home for the next 2 years at least. The Thompson & Morgan seeds had good use by dates on of 2019 & also an offer where certain seeds were 99p if you bought a packet of normal priced seeds. The 99p ones were 50p in the sale so extra cheap. Just got to stop myself from going mad in Wilkinsons now when their seed sale starts as I really don't need anymore seeds lol xJane

I have one of those cards too, but manage to spend all the vouchers as I get  them somehow.....never sure how that happens!

I don't plan what I need seedwise too carefully as there will always be some temptations I have to make room for somehow...last year it was Sarah Raven flower seeds, I'm still planting stuff out now! I like to try things I haven't grown before, I'm gradually narrowing down my all time favourite list, but tomatoes are my weakness, can't resist a new variety!

Hi Deb, I got some Sarah Raven flower seeds to try next year. I don't grow tomatoes as I am allergic to them....I have several packets of tomato seeds though as I rather madly still buy them thinking I will grow them for other people but then don't have the space. If you send me your address I will post them to you  :toothy10:

Hiya I've just seen your message as I have been away without internet for the Bank Holiday weekend (great to unplug now & again). I got my Wyevale vouchers in the post today so I will be zooming there today. Thank you for letting me know....just can't resist cheap seeds lol xJane
