Great blog, enjoyed reading it.  Thought you just recommended it, but great ideas on there and interesting reading.  The only thing I will be doing on my allotment during March is weeding.

Plenty to do in March Borlotti, I'll be
Planting earlies and 2nds
Sowing cabbages, carrots, springies, parsnips, peas, etc
Harvesting parsnips
Repairing runnerbean frame
Barrowing compost, which by the way we have had another delivery of, up the poor end of the site.

Kev, please stop saying about all the compost, remember who told you to get the Council to give it to you, but not all to you, and not any for me.  Fed up from Enfield.  My seeds will not go in until the end of March, or plants, too cold at present, so there.

Cam, I have some shallots in pots to give them a head start, the ground being to wet and cold at the time so I put some in the pots in the summerhouse.  :coffee2:

Thankyou for this :icon_cheers: I am 1 of 4 running (or trying to run) a gardening group for the local U3A . I have nominated the veg expert solely because I have an allotment and won their best on site prize last year (no competition as loads just gave up) I usually just bumble along just doing my own thing but now have to be a bit organised :tongue3: so thankyou again I have something to talk about tomorrow
