What I love about these competitions (thank you for organising them, Nick, when you are so busy) is that we all vote for photos we simply like the best, rather than them being judged on expertise, focus, quality, etc. And we all react individually to something in a photo - a particular flower, a view that brings back memories, or just your favourite.

I thought it is some sort of (Himalayan?) balsam flower..Impatiens family?
