Title: Can aybody recommend a shed?
Post by: thexman on August 27, 2015, 23:28:56
I want to acquire a 6 x 4 shed for my allotment, whose major function will be to collect rain water.

Virtually every review I read of sheds is bad, so are there any good suppliers out there?

I live in Kent and would also need somebody to errect the shed.

Any thoughts and are there any suppliers of sheds to avoid?

How much should I pay?

No chance of building your own?  Mine is way more sturdy than most shop bought and only cost the price of some roof felt and nails...

I have absolutely no DIY skills, unfortunately!

Well everyone started somewhere! Its not rocket science. Any fencing supplier has pressure treated weatherboard in various lengths. Also framing (rails) and nails. They have side gates (A door) and hinges to suit.
Wickes do ready built sheds and will deliver. They also do the necessary concrete ingredients to be delivered for you too. Some local handyman will love to take on an easy job like this if that is your option.
