Title: Sweet Peppers
Post by: Tee Gee on February 24, 2017, 11:27:04
Decided to sow my Sweet Peppers today which is eleven days later than last year. I was going to sow my Tomatoes as well but decided to hang on another week with these as last years plants got a bit leggy by planting out time.

Will sow them next week probably which is 18days later than last year.

As some of you know I have been monitoring my spring bulbs over the last few years to determine if the season has started earlier or later than previous years and this year I am getting the impression that this year is around two weeks later than last year, hence my decision when to sow mt tomatoes.

This mornings work:

Nice and tidy :)

I'm sowing things 2 weeks later than last year, based on the weather.
So far, I have sown 2 varieties of peppers, 1 chilli variety, an aubergine, my early Garden Pearl and Yellow Peardrops toms (only need 1 plant of each, mind - the rest can wait) Zebrune shallots and a few Winterkefe hardy peas to grow on in the greenhouse, for an early picking.

That's it for a while, especially as the local forecast is not good for the next few weeks.
