Title: Wireworm
Post by: Mrs Ava on August 09, 2004, 22:48:05
I know Oz has spoken about this in his 'Slugs & Co' thread, but could someone please tell me what the damage would be like?  I have holes in a few of my spuds, and assumed they were slug holes.  I would really like to know the difference so I know what else I am dealing with on my disease/weed/pest infested plot of land.

Was reading that the ground should be treated with pirimiphos-methyl before planting out potatoes. Is this acceptable as organic and is it necessary?
