Title: Id of a shrub in Malaysia, please!

Perhaps too much of a challenge, I don't know . . . . . but our son-in-law's parents in Kuala Lumpur have sent me photos of a beautiful shrub that they started from a cutting, and don't know the name (not bourganvillea!).  They describe it as having a beautiful scent, and  flowers that start white, turn pink, then red.  When they fall, they stain the patio red - not so good!  Any ideas?
I thnk the photos are a bit on the small side, but if you click on them, they will grow!

Found it, by searching on the internet, or course.  Ended up on site of a Californian Tropical plant nursery.  And there it was, the photos almost identical.  It is so beautiful! Have a look at these:
