Post by: bluehousehill on April 25, 2008, 21:40:29
Hi we are trying to grow our first ever sunflowers. We sowed them last sunday and left them on the window sill. They have grown really quick and are now drooping. What should we do next? Our lettuce has drooped as well ??? any advice would be great help thanks

I presume they are watered so maybe they are to hot and need a little protection from the sun :)

They have been watered maybe a bit too much lol they are on our kitchen window sill. When do you think we should move outside and how big do you think they should be before they get planted into the ground? Thanks Betula

I have never grown lettuce or sunflower but I work on the principle  of if they are drooping are they to hot or to cold .have they been overwatered or underwatered.

The more wine I am drinking this evening the more of an expert I am becoming ;D
