Title: exercise
Post by: ACE on October 05, 2020, 11:31:05
I treat my allotment as a green gym. 5 mile round trip cycle, then a bit of energetic work, it works well with my weight loss programme. The wind and rain put the mockers on it for 4 days so I done a bit of exercise at home. A cheap little ab trainer from aldi which is supposed to gently tone up your stomach with the different sit ups and leg raises. Gently! my stomach muscles are a bit tender today, my arms are falling off and it hurts to get up from the chair. I can bend, twist, dig like a lunatic and carry heavy weights at the allotment, so how can lying down, sitting up and raising my legs make me ache so much.

Well, the pain shows its doing you some good. Its generally the shock from such muscles that have been resting quietly for ?? years! A little but often will help. Bet that cultivator stirred some up!
Just keep your head down and keep going, we are with you in spirit.

I once did pilates.
Once!
I can ride for miles and garden all day but one hour of pilates killed me for days..
