Title: Strange thing in the pond
Post by: Poppy Mole on April 17, 2011, 20:40:30
Noticed a strange thing in my pond this evening, it is about 2inches long, looks a bit like a lump of jelly, the tail(?) curled up & stuck out of the water, lots of legs in evidence when prodded with a piece of dried grass stalk. Not unlike a scorpion.
Does anyone know what it is please?

That long - could be a drowned scorpion, we do get a tiny one in GB - gives a sting much like a bee
