I recall a recent discussion about the positioning of the top shelf on his/her mini-greenhouse - can't find the original posting, so I've started a new heading. I had the same problem with my upper shelf being too high to get access through the zip-up flap, but then I realised I had put in the shelf support upside down. Mine have "feet" on one side and I had inadvertantly put it in with the feet facing downwards. Turning it over lowered the top shelf a couple of inches. It's still not the greatest design in the world, but at least I can get to my pots for watering, and I only keep the shorter seedlings on that shelf. Hope this helps.
