Title: Mr Fothergill's £1 seeds offer
Post by: Jayb on May 02, 2015, 10:30:04
I had an email from them but I'm pretty sure it is open to everyone, all seed packets are £1 each this weekend, until the end of Monday the 4th. Flowers and veggies  :icon_cheers:

Excellent, thank you! I was very good and ordered only three packets, but they were things I really wanted. :)

I tried not to, but had to have a look just in case. The first item in the trolley was samphire which I ate for the first time recently and wanted to have a go at growing. Ended up spending £9 but it could have been worse.

Lol, it would be rude not to look  :toothy10:
I must admit I got a little carried away (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-basic/tongue.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php) It seems to good an offer to turn up, I got mostly veggies, several leeks as I've had a bit of a no show with my earlier sowings, I also ordered some double packs of some favourites (carrots, beetroot etc) which will keep me going for a few years. I fancied trying the watermelon Fascino F1, but wouldn't have for full price. I've just sown the last of my Cauliflower Graffiti so a new packet ordered...
Chuffed  :drunken_smilie:

Samphire? Oh no, how did I miss that? I would totally have added that to my order if I'd seen it.
