Mark Diacono's (River Cottage) venture at Otter Farm is good for some unusual stuff, mostly plants rather than seeds... http://shop.otterfarm.co.uk/ (http://shop.otterfarm.co.uk/) .. I'm a big fan of his philosophy even though he did once call me  "a bit of a potato Nazi"...

Not a seed site (intended for organic eating) - but nevertheless a source for Carlin Peas, British grown Quinoa and a few other goodies.

A bit like Rancho Gordo in the USA who sell beans for eating, which nevertheless are very useful as garden seeds - taste before you grow  :sunny:

Thanks for that - it's a wonderful resource which I'll drool over copiously in the winter, especially now some US sites I've used in the past to source unusual tomatoes etc. no longer send to the UK.  Keep 'em coming, if you find any more.

Love the way the Belgian website describes their chilies as Mild, Hot and Insane.

Can't get decent chilies or seeds here so thanks for the link.

Deb, please keep us updated regarding your order. I placed an order 20th March, they said it was shipped but it hasn't yet arrived. I wonder if Belgian post is severely delayed.
I otherwise have confidence in the company - placed an order back in 2019 and it got here fast, and the seeds were good.

There are severe holdups for post arriving from overseas at the moment.  Birthday card that should have arrived in very good time did not make it either.  It is not the seed company but the post.

I think I have found a new one.  Seekay Horticulture on Ebay.
When I bought several packets the postage disappeared after a few.
No fancy packing.  They are in small reclosable plastic envelopes.  Arrived quickly.  Nothing fancy but good prices on the basics.  Good numbers of seeds supplied for the price.  Mr Fothergill Mini pop sweet corn £3.10 for 50,  SeeKay £1.39 for 75.  Now to see how well their seeds grow.  Just put some sweet peas to chit.

I can vouch for Seekay. I've used their seeds quite a lot over the last three years or so, and found them and their seed very reliable. The other good seed company on eBay with an even wider selection I think is Premier Direct. Also reliable seed, prompt delivery and excellent prices.
