More than old enough to know who Jethro Tull is.  Have a great night J.  Know that you have been looking forward to seeing them for a while.  Was it Ian Anderson that used to stand on one leg while playing the flute?  You will have to report back on whether he was still able to do it.  ;D busy_lizzie.

Well the man was excellent, he totally rocked Newcastle  ;D , he sang a mixture of new and old songs, played the flute on one leg (at his age?) it was just like the old days  ;D ;D ;D . At the end the crowd gave him a standing ovation that lasted ages (he deserved it tho) . I would recommend seeing him even if you're too young to remember him from the early days.
As you must now realise i'm an even bigger fan.

Hi Ozzy, you should listen to 'Songs from the Wood' or 'Heavy horses' these are really down to earth and rustic, but then again any LP (showing my age now) are excellent. I listen to him going to work, and listen to Pink Floyd/ Iron Maiden going home. You should see the looks on the other drivers fecse as i pass them with the car bouncing  ;D .

The maan who turned into a woman was David Palmer? he used to come on stage with a beard and smoking a pipe  ;D he (sorry she) is now known as 'Dee' she keeps the result of the operation on her mantlepiece in a jar  :-X :-/ .Ian did mention iot a the gig, but he also said that Jack Bruce was in intensive care and is not expected to come out alive   :o does anyone else know anything about this?
