Title: Sunflowers and large flowers
Post by: davee52uk on June 20, 2007, 20:42:51
I have two allotment plots next to each other. I find it is pointless growing any small flowers as they get lost in the veg. Instead I grow:

Giant Sunflowers - so uplifting to see their giant yellow faces on a sunny day.

Nasturtiums - self seeding and covering vast areas if you let them - great in competition with marrows.

Sweet William - almost indestructible and give flowers early in the season.

What about you?
