Is it too late to sow Cleome seeds now. Packet says up to March. I am in uk. I did try some earlier on with no luck.

The RHS advises a 2 week stratification period and then 18 to 24C. Germination can take 30 days so that would mean mid June to get seedlings but I expect they would then grow fairly quickly.

Thank you obelixx. I did a bit of a google and as a result went out and sowed some seeds directly in the garden. I will report success or failure. I hadn't put them in the fridge first however so we will see.

I'm sure they will soon catch up! Just to note if you are on a public site they have leaves that look a bit like canabis leaves and can attract comment! I actually had a row dug up by the committee of a site in fleet wood who said they were canabis! Annoying!
Here to lovely flowers in July, I've got some on the go to from the seed swap. X sunloving

Thank you Sunloving. I am hoping to be able to collect seeds from these. I bought three colours white, rose and purple.
