Come back Eve all is forgiven. This is the first Discovery to be ripe enough to eat, and early too. Wish I could show you the taste, but believe me it was good.

Bully for you, Eric. Our Discovery - the pollinator for the 4 Sunsets - is USELESS! Always out of synch with pollinating & never had a good fruit. = Tim

Lucky you. This year we have had a dismal crop on our Discoveries and the birds finished off the few that were there, doesn't look like we will get any this year.  :'(

My tree looked like that last year but not so this year  :'(.  But he he, my theory is that because it has had a good rest this year next year will be a bumper crop!  ;D (I hope!)

My Discovery have been a disappointment this year, mostly because it's a fairly young tree so I only let 3 develop, but they all have a split around the stalk area, so I presume I did not give them enough water when it was dry and they burst through their own skins. And then! they were all "attacked" by some kind of beastly beast - bird? wasp? and they all went brown and narsty anyway!

Oh well. Better luck next year...!

Ten x

Our minarette is not impressive - 6 years old. = Tim
