hi  we have only had our greenhouse since begin may so its all a bit of a steep learning curve for us. :D
we have put net curtains all around the sides but what do we do to the roof?
do we need to do any thing? ???

we've been told not to put anything on the roof but today all the seedlings on the top shelves have wilted and died  :'(
and we've been told to white wash?! it.
its all so confusing so any advice please ;D

The product you need is called Cool Glass. Only costs a couple of quid for a few sachets. Simply add water and paint on with a paint brush. When the summers finished it can we wiped off with a dry cloth although I use a broom and a hosepipe to wash it off. I used to tie a paint brush to a bamboo cane which makes the roof easier to reach. Don't forget to damp down in this hot weather.
