Yes it was but harder than that and the drops would surely smudge the opp way to what we were going???
We were travelling left to right..........?

Rain? so the rain is going downwards and we are travelling left to right at about 30mph
so why s the moon not blurred and the raindrops would be at an angle cos they are going downwards as well as us going left to right???
And where are the rest of the rain drops then :-\

Refraction, speed, tec, etc. Blurred / not blurred; also closeness to camera (i.e. fence posts are blurred, distant trees not. Or are they alien fence posts.... ? Yikes!)

Hi Doris,

Somehow I cannot help but think Derek (who I like very much) has in fact read about the  history of the place well before they go on air.   ::) ::) ???
As to the table moving left, right and centre, .... ;D ;)
But it is a very entertaining show.  ;D :P

Hi Andy! What an excellent photo! I've seen a UFO - not aliens from another planet but something unexplained! I phoned in my report (as did other people apparently) but there was no explanation for what we saw.... SPOOKY!!!

MMmmmmmm not convinced...

The raindrops would be smudged the other way as we were going left to right, I am sitting in passenger seat with window open...........

:) OK, how about, if it was raindrops away from airflow on car, caught in flash, wouldn't they be going straight down. so look like frozen in time ??? ??? :)

Raindrops fall at what average speed???
We were doing about 30mph I guess..... which isn`t much of a difference of the speed of rain falling, I would have thought if we travelled at same speed along as the rain was going down then the smudges would be at 45 degrees or am I being really dense? :-\
