Title: Perennial tree kale
Post by: Robert_Brenchley on August 21, 2014, 21:53:05
This is a Daubenton's x tree collard cross I was sent six months or so back. The plants are now five feet high, and as you see, massive.

The link works, at least. I haven't worked out how to make the pic appear here yet.

They look great, nice plants. How do they taste?

Fine, like most kales. I'm still looking for other perennials. Some eewig moes which flowered this year is still going, so despite differing opinions from various places, it looks as though it's a true perennial. I'll see if it's still there in the spring.
