Title: Spidey
Post by: Mrs Ava on November 30, 2003, 17:54:52
Okay, insect wildlife, can you see the wee 8 legged critter?!  I took the pic because this morning was stunning!  A light dew over everything at the lottie, the morning sun shining, the sky as blue as can be, and as I strolled to my plot, this sparkled like diamonds in the sun.  Couldn't resist a pic!

Hi there, Just had a look at your pic. Aren't spiders webs lovely to look at? I have dozens of small hammock-shaped webs on the bushes in my front garden and they appear to be strung with little glittering pearls after rain and diamonds after frost. We also get webs like the one in your photograph and they are so perfect that it is hard to believe that it takes only one night for a spider to spin each new one. Cheers Eileen. ::)
