Title: What's this on my asparagus?
Post by: otto_nowak on May 07, 2008, 14:44:32
I have found tiny yellow "egg like" things on a few of my asparagus tips.  I thought the asparagus beetle larvae came from underground so any idea what these might be?

From what I remember from previous years, asparagus beetle eggs are thin and dark, and wedged horizontally into a stem in a clever way (or maybe they are sticky?)  I wouldn't expect to see any beetles around yet.

i squashed several beetles today, and several a few days ago - watch out they are out.
