Title: Does Age make you twittier?

Had help yesterday - luxury! - so said let's make trenches for the last potatoes.
Great day, so leave them open till 5pm so that the sun can warm them.

Did I forget that they would be in full shade from the house all day & that, at 5pm, they would still have frost on them?

I did!  Blessed are the allotments with their plein air!

Just to show the problem, this is the first sun we get on that bit - at 6pm!!

I have the answer to your problems, mirrors, lots of em reflecting the sun to where you want it. Just an idea ;D
