Title: Netting, netting. netting.
Post by: ACE on May 23, 2019, 13:03:07
I was building a hooped cover for my cabbages when  my mate asked if I needed any netting for it. As I always need netting any way I went down to his shed and he pulled out a roll of new scaffold debris netting that somebody gave him. Asked him how much and he said the bloke gave him 3 rolls left over from a building site and all he wanted was to pass some of it on to another plot holder. Unrolled and unfolded 50m x 3m. A few cans of ale will be left by his shed I think.

I need some more debris netting - great stuff all round.  I had a load off a skip a while back but even if you do have to buy it, it is still way cheaper than most "garden" netting.
What with carrot fly, cabbage white, allium leaf miner and assorted bird life it seems everything needs netting..
