Title: SNOW BERRY QUESTION.
Post by: Duke Ellington on December 04, 2016, 16:52:59
The woods nearby seem to have loads of snow berries growing. Do they have any use indoors or otherwise? They look so pretty. BTW someone told me they are called snowberries!

Duke 🙂

Symphoricarpus berries are food for various game birds. However the plants themselves are very invasice.

There was one on one of the overgrown bottom plants... it took some digging out... but got rid in the end.

We've got snowberries all over the site; they're decorative once the berries form, and they stay on the bushes a long time as the birds aren't too keen. They're decent bee plants as well. On the other hand, they're really invasive. they invaded the bottom of my plot at one point, and were a pain to get rid of.
