I think a menu suitable for celebrating Australia Day is more to my liking.   Can't bear neeps and I can happily spend the rest of my life not eating haggis either.

Vegetarian haggis, very nice too. Helped down with some 12 year old Glenlivet.

Veggie haggis was on the menu at our local pub yesterday. What was in yours? I'm sure it would be much nicer than the "real thing".

Did not really look at the label, but I do remember pearl barley and lentils, with all the spices you would not know the difference between the veggie stuff and finely minced meat. We make batches of lentil rissoles for freezing which taste the same as our haggis. I am not a vegetarian but I would never eat lamb and mutton is disgusting which is the usual flesh used in haggis. The only problem with ours was the addition of palm oil which I have since read is used in a lot of shop bought veggie stuff. We will make our own next year.
