Over the years I have grown loads of courgettes. This year has been a disaster. I think some have black fly but many have a strange appearance and yellowing of the leaf.Hardly and flowers are appearing. Any ideas and help gratefully received.

Any pictures?
Details of how/where grown?

Just walk around the plots and compliment other growers courgettes, you will soon have many more than you can eat and you won't have to worry about yours.

Same here this year on my plot. Plants are yellow and small and not producing. i think my own fault as the beds have been used for raspberries for years and maybe I didn't prepare them as well as I should.

No probs with courgette or patti pan, but the butternuts were looking sad. A hand full of chicken manure pellets then two gallons of water daily on each plant for a week and they soon perked up.

Ace has the remedy, 28 minutes before you put up the picture!
Your plant is 'trying to run before it walks'. I find great pleasure in seeing a transplanted plant get its boots on and suddenly get going.
