Tee Gee, I love that Honey Enn Bee Wedding C ; it has such a delicate colour.  I will have to look out for it at the garden centres.

I had a browse through all your jigsaws on jigidi, yesterday and loved the ones of the water gardens at Wisley.  They are an inspiration and having 80 pieces they are a bit more taxing.  I haven't been to Wisley for a few years but must make the effort next year.

Now to solve chrysanthemum puzzles.  Thanks for posting, Tee Gee.

I would recommend NOT to go this route I would suggest you get in touch with your local Chrysanthemum society.

This way you are likely to find that most growers will only be too  pleased to sell you a few.

My reason for this is:  garden centre stuff is often diseased (White Rust) as I know to my disgust this year when I bought some 'charm' varieties from Aldi/Lidl, they were blathered in it.

I have even noticed that some of the main mail order companies are importing from Holland these days as opposed to propagating their own stock, so this increases the risk also.

So buying clean stock  is a bit of a minefield these days!

Societies stuff is usually selected stock and disease free.

Hopefully my stock is not contaminated particularly as I do not grow as many now.

I usually buy my new stock (if needed) at the Society stand at Harrogate Spring Show.

ps Glad you like my jigsaw stock.

I prefer those Enn Bee Wedding chrysanthemums too as I like to see into the centres of flowers.  It's the same with roses, I might buy a double for its smell but for pure beauty I prefer a single rose.

Sometimes I think breeders have gone mad over the years, especially when producing pom-pom flowers.  They are all right for the show bench if you like that sort of thing, but they are not bee friendly.

Now to solve the two new jigsaws.  Thanks for posting them Tee Gee.

I like flowers to be open too and I'm not keen on chrysanthemum foliage which always looks limp and droopy.   They make good puzzles though.

Thanks TeeGee.

Such beautiful flowers.  I love the ones with the green centres and chrysanthemums always last such a long time as cut flowers too.  Thanks for posting Tee Gee.

This has been a very interesting week with one of my favourite flowers

I remember as a young kid going to help?? out on a market garden that used to grow chrysanthemums for the flower market.
