= 4ft  * 8ft
so 2.5kg = 48 square foot  (+ a bit around the edge)

E&OE - Tim

philcooper:
The varieties that I know are Eersteling (It's Duke of York) in England a good old first early (tastes like they used to) and Premier a modern commercial early so good yields if not quite so much flavour.

Eigenhiemer is a very old variety and said to be very tasty (I haven't grown it). Bintje is a very popular variety on the continent and is easy to grow

I don't recognise any of the lates

There is a very good Dutch website www.potato.nl with loads of information about all the varieties available in the Netherlands - you just type the variety name in the search window and it will tell you all you need to know (and more)

I reckon Red Duke of York is even better - very clean = Tim
