Not seen it but would love to.  What's it on?  I love The Allotment DVD and they gave good advice re which spuds to get.  I followed it and was suitably rewarded with fabbo spuds

Let me know when it's on, what channel etc

Discovery real time is a channel you get to on cable/ satellite tv once youve got past;

what the romans did for us
history of the nazis
garden model railway
celebrity cribs
build a car out of bits from a junkyard

then in case youve missed any of the above you get discovery +1 etc etc.

Hours of RSI fun trying to find something to watch,
Best laid plans and all that

He's great - i've seen him on the food hunter - completely bonkers and the most enthusiastic greengrocer i've ever seen, will look out for Veg out - don't usually watch disc rt i'm more a uktvfood/uktv stylegdns/cbeebies kinda girl (the latter is for the son and heir - at 13 months he's not really into endless cookery programmes but prefers the b****y Tweenies ::))

Do you mean the bald greengrocer from Saturday Kitchen?

I don't have the discovery channel so is there any way one can get to view it on the internet or some such fangled thing?

Still in the last century me  :-[

Yes Wardy - just looked him up - Greg Wallace

Really good fun bloke, he wrote a column in the Sainsburys magazine as well, not so good on Masterchef though, they all got a bit poncey on that one.

I'm still not sure if he is Veg Out, but they did do a good series on lotties where they came back to plots to see progress on veg during the year, with a whole prog devoted to one item - last one I saw was tomatoes.

Do let us know if that is it then I can look out for it instead of falling over it by accident,

Wardy - I would tape it for you if I had any notion of HOW?!    ???

6:00 to 6:30 AM Saturday - Veg Out  "Charlie and Gregg meet a couple at their allotment in north London. In the greenhouse, they plant some chillies and peppers. "

6:00 to 6:30 AM Sunday - The Allotment  "Experts David Cemlyn and Jane Moore prepare to help their protégée Jane Bailey turn an abandoned plot into a productive allotment. "

You really have to keep your eyes peeled for these don't you?

If someone could copy me this Veg out thing that would be fab.  I don't have any satellite telly etc  :'(  Or maybe the series is on DVD.  I'll check and get back to yous all  :)
