It's catching
« on: February 16, 2004, 10:31:57 »
I am flabbergasted - just been down to Birmingham to see family, and discovered my sister and her next door neighbour have just acquired a lottie - I was able to nod wisely and give sage advice in the great plotters tradition to somebody who knows less then me (doesn't happen often!).  She's even got her friendly farmer to come and actually plough it for her this week - I don't know how deep a plough goes, but presumably beats hiring a rotivator!  Obviously I'll get her on here as soon as!

I've been doing a little bit of reading into the attraction that allotments seems to have these days. I'm unsure exactly why, but people do seem to be coming back to growing their own, for a multitude of reasons.

'And it pleases thee' :)
