I just supplied the cams, and set them up. The real brains behind it was a mate called Orfy from Orford, who I see signed up last night. He got the net end of it sorted for me, so between us, we should be able to help you out. Should be plenty of choice next year.  ;)

Quinny,

you could use the camera you mentioned and by a Video S  to usb adapter so you can run it on your computer. You can then set easywebcam up to work with it. That way you don't need to run wires from the box. I don't know how long the battery would last though.

hi2yoho  - Fantastic live cam, I've been toying with the idea myself as I have started making bird/bat boxes.  Buying one already wired is nearly £200 Shocked

Do you think I could use the following to fit into a nest box if I didn't want to hook it up to my pc?  I'd run a wire rather than the wireless option on the wee battery...

No probs if you're unsure - just thought I'd ask  Grin

Keep up the great shots!!!

No no no - live webcams are dangerous things. I got totally addicted to watching one showing a pregnant mare. Missed the birth of course!

Ok - I'll take a peek!
gone to pot :D

If you was watching just, you'd of seen me chasing a blackbird fledgling and then telling the dog off for chasing the blackbird fledgling and trashing my prize alliums....grrrrrr.  Don't think the black bird mum was to impressed with me or the dogs.

Nah, I don't do nude sunbathing, so nothing to hide.   :o 8)

Anyway I thought you lot were bird watching, not Orfy watching

Thanks for the info Orfy.  I'm thinking this is quite complicated all this camera malarkey however I will persevere.  Your garden layout is cool, flower bed looks tops as well.

Cheers for now. ;D
