Hi, I have found having the pool brought the frogs and toads to the garden so no slug snail problems those I did find snails one foot on them and onto the conservory roof for the birds so easy this year. But I always wanted to try the beer methord but hubby thinks the garden would get more beer then him. ha ha Teresa

I recommend patience - and surreptitiously including something along the lines of 'type allotments4all into your search engine .......' on as many posts on aunties boards as you can manage without getting modded off!

Really miss Gavin and Big Bob (such a wise fellow!)....perhaps we could entice them here somehow?  With Lish's coconut's, perhaps!  Where IS Lish?  8)

As another ex-brief-beebie, I feel really flattered that Gavin should be missed!  Thank you, allotment_chick, - you've made my day.

I almost went back to beeb to find out how many Gavins there were - but couldn't face the disillusionment!

But, brief though I was on beeb, it's nice to see a fair few familiar names!

And I forgot what I wanted to say in the first place!!!!  I've got all sorts of bits and pieces I'd happily write up, cutnpaste, whatever.  

But how would you want them, Dan?  As posts - they might be quite long?  Or a chunk of text e-mailed to you?  Or HTML files?
