I have never grown anything and was absolutely amazed at the result ! :D ;D

Enjoy today to the full.  You are not sure of a tomorrow.

I just pulled my first one "to see if it was big enough", it tasted fantastic but I had to pull another one before I could decide that no they weren't big enough.  Cannot wait till they are - I wonder if the radishes can?

Hi Danny,

They are "Sparkler" radishes from Kings.  The pack has 975 plants in it and if you want a few, I will send them to you.  Just PM me your address.

And yes, they WERE delicious !  ;D :D

Radishes are great. They are so easy to grow and take up so little room. And they taste beautiful. I used to grow them as a kid just outside our kitchen. Happy memories!

I just hope that everybody's taste as good as mine do (and I am confident they will) becasue they really were wonderful - could eat them till they came out my ears.

Congrats on your radishes Marianne, they are looking good.  Radishes are great; while I am waiting for everything else to come up, up  pop the radish seeds in a flash. Instant joy!  Can't wait to pick them.  Nice fresh peppery taste to look forward to.  :) busy_lizzie

I don't understand.  I love curry and chilli but can't stand raddishes (devil's food). Doesn't stop me groving them anyway.

Pulled a third lot of mine today - French Breakfast - sorry can't do photo's - they were huge and incredibly hot!....also some lovely big dark red oak leaf shaped lettuce leaves sown from a pack of mixed salad leaves...put them in a sandwich with some low fat cheese & chive spread - yummy!  :P
