Topic: NEW visitors to the garden

A pair of greater spotted woodpeckers looking for a home. I see them in the wood but it's the first time I've seen them in my garden. Just spent a wasted 1/2 hour trying to get a pic but they keep going round the blind side of the tree...! I think they know what I'm up to.

Me too Kenkew  :)  I did take some pics but from too far away and they looked rubbish, the photo that is - not the woodpeckers - which are quite spectacular (well I think so)  More exotic anyway than our usual garden visitors  :)
