Mixed-up potatoes
« on: April 12, 2005, 11:36:34 »
When my mini-greenhouse fell over last week in the wind, it had most of my remaining seed spuds in it   >:( I am sooooo glad the international kidney were still in the shed.

Anyway, had a lot of pentland dell in there, some home guard, and 2 tubers of picasso, maris piper, juliet and nicola. All got mixed up  :( I have managed to sort out the home guard I think cos they had quite long sprouts, but the rest are a real mystery!

What I am really asking is if anyone remembers the link that was posted on here last year about this time with lots of information about spuds, and when they flowered and what colour the flower was, and some of the entries also had pictures of the sprouts too! It's not http://www.europotato.org/ though.

Any other ideas on how to work out what is what would be gratefully recieved.

Not sure if it's any help as I haven't had a good look through it for the varieties you have but worth a try....

Thanks Lazybones, that site had some of the varieties I have.

Had a quick look for red blotches Aqui, but not found any, hard to tell with the dirt and the compost that fell all over them from the pots  :-\ May have to wash them all   :P
