Hi ya, after talking to another plot holder I realized that muntjac deer, that I have seen on site were responsible for eating my runner beans. I initially wondered why the leaves had gone halfway up the poles. I have heard that human hair repels them so a visit to the barbers could be in order and scatter around the path. I could use netting around the canes to stop them. I think. Has anyone any suggestions. It's the first time I have seen them on site in 15 years so it could be down to the way the weather was and nothing growing. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

I really don't have a clue.

But given the other discussions going in the past few weeks, your best hope seems to be the possibility of inviting some urban foxes to move in, or failing that some local badgers.  Let them fight it out between themselves and the winners get a title fight with the winner of the pigeons, rabbits and rats.
Not mad, just out to mulch!
