Pond is dug...
« on: April 07, 2005, 15:28:12 »
..now is the time to put in the liner.  Does anybody have any views on using a dry mix cement instead of sand between the liner and the soil.  I have seen web sites on lining a liner with cement so presumably the cement does not do any harm to the material but I have not been able to find any information on using dry mix instead of sand.

well, knowing how dry mix cement works, you would be making a solid form, once the liner is in and filled with water, give a few months and you will have a permanent pool which will be more difficult to get rid of should you ever wish to do so.

what is your intention?
