Ultrasonic deterrents for badgers
« on: April 29, 2021, 11:39:05 »
Anyone any experience in using ultrasonic deterrents to scare off badgers. They have devastated everyone's sweetcorn on our allotment site for the last two years.
The owner of a local hardware store says he fitted one for a family member and it seemed to work but I am sceptical.
Would the ultrasonic cat deterrents on sale work on badgers as well?

Following because I definitely have visiting badgers and I’m wondering if I need to be worried about my corn! Haven’t had any issues in the past.

They used to trash our sweetcorn on our site for a few years and I built a pallet barrier. But we haven't had damage recently.
