I thought it was colder, I nearly put a jacket on today. We don't see much of the white stuff down here. I built a sledge for the nipper one xmas when he was 4. He was 11 when he eventually got to use it.

it snowed most of the morning in Barnsley but then it turned to sleet it laid on the garden but not on the pavements

Friends in Glossop sent us pics of it snowing too... Snake Pass between Manchester and Sheffield a bit rough today.

Snow in the east too. Got to just about an inch by midday but it was wet slushy stuff, not as lovely as some.

Still no snow but in ain't half cold. I cycled to the allotment this morning to pick some veg dressed like Nanook of the North and still got frozen. No frost though.
