One of the deepest, most profound moments in a man's life
« on: October 24, 2020, 09:51:07 »
Yesterday I came home from work to one of the deepest, most profound moments in a man's life.

My new shed had arrived.

I'm sure you all appreciate the feeling.

Hi Ya, Know what you mean. We have had the back garden done professionally and I was told I could have a new shed. The old one 10x6 went away. I went to the shed people who build from scratch, deliver, treat etc. ^ weeks later it showed up. Wow, I had told the fellow doing the garden not to allow for the old shed which would be awkward in his laying slabs to fit old shed as I had inadvertently ordered a 10x8. Oh dear,  Well I got my measurements wrong. Lovely jubbly and it looks brilliant. She who must be obeyed got a new patio set though and now has put the 6 big chairs in there to over winter. Still I have plenty of room. It also means I can hoard more stuff as I admit to being a hoarder. Can't help myself  cheers all  :occasion14:

Hee hee - I have to get a Mountfield M3, an Atco Standard and, eventually, an Allen Scythe in mine - the hoard is bad enough already!

Need a bigger garden for one of those.... though it's tempting!

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

...and the builder and his lad (half-term labour, no doubt) are putting the hard base down for it as I speak. It's all jolly exciting!

Now I must go and dig the allotment - the forecast for the week I have off work to sort it (this one) is pretty d**n damp, so I need to get weaving.
