water feature
« on: April 06, 2005, 22:23:39 »
ok this is my second attempt. thanks to lord steve if this works!

well i modified my old, chepy urny water feature during the skool holidays. stuck the resvoir in the ground and binged some stones and a couple of plants in it. looks excellent in the whole garden. sits justs at the back corner and is excellent at night whne the rock lights shine on it!  ;D

sorry LS decided to stay simple and not resize this time! will have a go next time.  hope you like the planting. cost £5!!! three grasses from B&Q for £5 and the bamboo was sat in a pot not doing much so i pulled it out and divided it and plonked it in the ground.

hope you like..??!!!?  ???

Adam it's lovely.   :D  Isn't it good to sit back and listen to water tinkling  over stones in your own garden?  ;D
Once those grasses settle in it's going to look even better. B&Q also do some nice red, black and bronze grasses if you want to add more colour later.

Job well done!!  8)

in the pot is a grape vine. hopefully it will cover a bit of that bambbo pole. thought about stuff for e garage but the at the foot is solid concrete and i dont want to spoil the garden by putting pots in as it wouldnt fir it wiht the overall theme. but thanks for the thought
