To miserable to go out so I watched the Farmers Country Showdown. Imagine my surprise when my next door plot holder popped up on the screen talking about his wood carving.

Allotment sites contain many hidden talents.. we had a hedge layer.. never cultivated much but did some beautiful work on the avenues. Also took down a few "hoover pigeons" when people weren't looking.....

Allotmenteers are often multi talented.

I've heard of gifted musicians and brewers among their numbers. I would not be surprised to find Morris men and beekeepers too. Who knows?
Not mad, just out to mulch!

We have had beekeepers on site in the past but not ATM to my knowledge... a very sensible arrangement for both parties.
