Sprayer problem

Hi I have a Faithfull 5 ltr sprayer that now sprays continuously , the trigger has no affect on stopping it . Any ideas?

Have you tried dismantling the lance?

You may have a build up of sludge/ algae and it may be this that is affecting the triggering!

Hi biffabear, I had a similar issue a couple of years back with my sprayer, although a different make. I found a suitable spare part on amazon, it was a reasonable price and fitted fine. I might have needed a new washer too, can't quite remember.
I wish I'd asked here first and I could have followed Tee Gee's advice.
