is there anyone here from the Scottish islands, Bute or near by?

Hi all.
I am going to be moving soon. We are going to the isle of Bute, so is there any one On here from up that way? I need to know about what is going to grow up there, if my chickens will be OK and the one that worries me most, if the bees will be OK.
