Protecting planted seeds from frost
« on: April 08, 2005, 10:55:07 »
 :-\

Planted loads of seeds over the last couple of weekends (bloody optimist in the sun)

Will the frost have any adverse affects ? If so what can i do to minimise risks ?

How does nature ever grow from seed after frost ??

Even if they get mildly burnt, Emma, they'll recover. Later.

The problem with us is that we put plants in places nature didn't intend them to be at times nature didn't intend them to be growing.  Do I ever learn anything from that?  No!  My plants still get frosted, scorched, parched or drowned and still I enjoy gardening.  I must be barmy!  Lance
Getting there - just rather slowly!!

Good to hear Tim.  I think they will be okay as I did cover them earlier in the week, but I reakon they will already be poking their noses through.  Popping up there tomorrow to see how they look.
