Lovely rain.

ACE:
No good for my allotment in a growing sense, but as it seemed like the usual rainfall for the year all came last night it done me a favour. I chipped out all the weeds, grass and rubbish out of the gravel drive yesterday. It looked a mucky mess, this morning all clean gravel and the drive and parking area looks like I've dressed it with new stuff. I expect it also got the worms working on the allotment they should have taken down a fair amount of manure last night.

Sounds good Ace.   Wonderful stuff working with nature and vice versa.

Lovely rain here too yesterday - 5cms in  one day so we had a puddle for a while.   Our gravel drive would look good too except it's vovered in leaves brought down by the winds.
