Hi Ya,
Well followed your recommendation ACE and the dehydrator turned up yesterday. It looks OK to me and was not as big as I expected and very light as well. Only managed to get it un-boxed and a quick read of the instruction manual, more in depth read today while at work. The drying times seem long but they may be normal dependent on thickness of the slices. Apple for instance from 8 to 30 hours. Really? do some things take that time? We have loads of apples so will give it a go and see. Should we treat the apple slices before drying? can they be eaten dried? do you re-hydrate to make a pie? so many questions and it's opening a whole new subject. Be ready for more questions as we go along now your are the subject matter expert. Cheers
