Emmilee:
Hi all,
My first post about my first ever allotment!
I managed to talk my way into getting this great plot real quick as it had been neglected for a whole year, so previous owner was kicked off & I've moved in! Lots of work to be done but thanks to my new allotment buddies who helped rotavate my first cleared part - it's happening!
Pictures are from day 1 (28th July) to present - I'm getting there!! :)
Previously I've always been a flower grower so growing veg & fruit is very new to me. My own garden is currently being controlled by 3 hens who won't let me grow anything!!
Look forward to asking lots of questions & getting to know everyone! :sunny:

Welcome from me too.
Well done. All that space. And free chicken manure.
Now you can plant and sow something.
I am sowing a nice rows of spinach, chard, spring greens and kale and soon garlic and broad beans. And I am just off to sow my favourite: wrinkle crinkle cress.

Hi Ya, You have done well. Does the greenhouse come with it as well? Bonus. You have the right way by just a little at a time unlike so many I have seen a few who go at it hammer and tongue and hurt themselves them give it up as to hard a work. Looking good and ask away as there is plenty of knowledge and helpful plotters on here. I used to live in Whittington village some 50 years ago so know where you are. Good luck and happy days. Can't beat a bad day on the plot it's still better thana good day at work. LOL
